Parliament approved the government's tax reduction bill, which will reduce taxes on labour by an additional 750 billion forints next year, which, together with previous decisions, will mean a tax cut of 1,500 billion forints, the Finance Minister said at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.

Mihály Varga stressed that Hungary’s economic recovery is one of the fastest in the European Union. In order for Hungary to maintain its advantage and strengthen Hungarian families, young people and businesses, the government will continue its policy of tax cuts, he pointed out.

The Finance Minister also informed that Hungary - for the first time in the world - successfully issued a Green Panda Bond on the Chinese market on Tuesday, worth approximately 50 billion forints.
