The French GIS and infographics expert Nicolas Lambert has drawn and presented through data visualization a special map depicting each country in terms of the coronavirus vaccines and vaccination effectiveness.

The special map shows the evolution of vaccine arrivals in 2 themes and at two time points. The first shows how many people have been vaccinated with the coronavirus (COVID 19) vaccine on January 4, 2021, and the second shows the condition on January 14, 2021, 10 days later.

How many people have been vaccinated with the coronavirus (COVID 19) vaccine on January 4, 2021?
How many people were vaccinated 10 days later, on January 14, 2021?

The other two figures show what percentage of the population has received the protective vaccine, also at the two dates.

What percentage of the population received the protected vaccine on January 4th ?
What percentage of the population received the protected vaccine on January 14th?

Two countries are outstanding: Britain and Israel (in the latter, 25 per cent of the country’s population has been vaccinated so far) as they vaccinate the population at a record rate, due to their willingness to take risks in terms of procurement and their willingness to pay more. Nearly millions of people in Israel have been vaccinated with the coronavirus vaccine in less than two weeks, thanks to an effectively organized network of community clinics, the military, incentives, and public collaboration.

On January 4, there were 13 million doses of the vaccine, and ten days later it was already 36 million, the number is growing exponentially. The competition for vaccines has started, and looking at the results of the past week, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Gibraltar, Iceland, Russia, China are also at the forefront.
