Chris Giles is certainly right saying that the economic crisis infecting Britain and other countries is deep /FT, 17 April 2020/.
Much more than scars of the crisis and hangover from the crisis will remain. Many problems will indeed persist once the government has lifted restrictions.
Fear will remain deeply rooted especially in the elder communities. Virtual tourism might replace real one and many more changes will occur to our earlier lifestyle.
All previous gradual transitions in the car industry, transportation, education, health care and manufacturing will be accelerated by new technologies, companies and supply chains.
The future will arrive faster than we expected before the crisis.
